| Psoriatic Arthritis Clinical Trial |
- If you have been told in the last 6 months that you have Psoriatic Arthritis, consider volunteering for a clinical research study. Metroplex Clinical Research Center is currently conducting a clinical research study for patients who have Psoriatic Arthritis. If you are at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis for 6 months you may be eligible. Qualified participants will receive study-related medication and study-related care at no cost. Other eligibility criteria will apply and insurance is not required. | Ankylosing Spondylitis Clinical Trial |
- If you have been told in the last 3 months that you have Ankylosing Spondylitis, consider volunteering for a clinical research study. | Scleroderma Clinical Trial |
- Are you willing to help other by contirubing to medical research? Metroplex Clinical Research Center is currently conducting a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of an investigational medication for Scleroderma. If you are 18 years of age or older, diagnosed with Scleroderma, and have thickening of the skin on your arms, legs, or torso you may be eligible to qualify. - Have you been told you have low bone density? Metroplex Clinical Research Center is currently conducting a clinical research study of an investigational medication for osteopenia. This study is for research purposes only and is not intended to treat your medical condition. If you are between the ages of 45 and 75 and have low bone density you may qualify. | Gout Clinical Trials |
- Metroplex Clinical Research Center is currently conducting a clinical research trial for Gout. If you suffer from gout you may be eligible to participate. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability and effectiveness of an investigational therapy for the prevention of gout flares. The study consists of 16 weeks of a treatment phase followed by a 6 week safety follow-up after treatment has been completed. - Do you have Rheumatoid Arthritis? Rheumatoid Arthritis affects 1.3 million people in the United States, if you are one of them consider volunteering in a clinical research study. MCRC conducts clinical studies, as they are a way to find treatments that work in people in the future and new ways to improve health. If you have been diagnosed with RA for 5 years or less and have not been exposed to a biologic drug (such as Enbrel, Humira, Remicade or others) then you may qualify. - If you are taking Methotrexate for your RA, ask your doctor about our clinical research study. MCRC is conducting a rheumatoid arthritis (RA) clinical research study to test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug for RA. This study will enroll qualifying participants with active RA who have not responded successfully to other treatments. Study staff at the clinic will review additional criteria and other study information with you at your first visit. Study participants will not be charged for study-related office visits or medical evaluations. You may be eligible to participate if you are at least 18 years old, have active RA, and have been taking methotrexate. | Lupus Clinical Trials |
- According to the Lupus Foundation of America, research shows that at least 1.5 million Americans have lupus and 16,000 new cases are reported annually. If you, a family member or friend has lupus consider volunteering for a clinical trial. MCRC is currently conducting a research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for Systemic Lupus Erythematous or SLE. To meet the requirements for the study qualified participants must be diagnosed with SLE for 6 months or more, have stable disease meaning there has been no change in medication in the last 30 days and not taking more than 10 mg of prednisone daily. - In a continuing effort to explore potential future options for patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Metroplex Clinical Research Center would like to inform you of a clinical research study that will test whether an investigational medication may help reduce the signs and symptoms of SLE in patients with and without renal activity (glomerulonephritis). If you are between 18 to 70 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus, you may be eligible to participate. - We are conducting a research study of 3 approved medications commonly used to treat pain due to osteoarthritis (OA) or rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in people who also have or are at high risk of heart disease. Qualified participants will receive study-related medical care, regular study check-ups and study medication at no charge. To qualify you must be 18 years of age or older, have had osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis for at least 6 months, have been prescribed regular medication for your pain for at least 6 months, and have or be at high risk of heart disease, which includes a history of heart attack, stroke, or diabetes.
