Roy M. Fleischmann, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Fleischmann is in private practice at Rheumatology Associates and serves as a clinical professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSMC). He has been chief of the Division of Rheumatology at UTSMC University Hospitals—St. Paul in Dallas since 1978 and co-medical director of MCRC since 1999. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.. He has been a consultant to pharmacological companies in the areas of trial design, protocol development and CME development. His memberships include the Inflammation Research Association, the Associates of Clinical Pharmacology and the Drug Information Association.
Among his honors are a “Best Doctors in Dallas” nod from D Magazine and a listing among “Texas Super Doctors” in Texas Monthly.
Stanley B. Cohen, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Cohen is a clinical professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and is in private practice at Rheumatology Associates. He is associate director of the Division of Rheumatology at UTSMC-University Hospitals–St. Paul and holds memberships in the American College of Rheumatology, the Medical Advisory Board of Directors of the Harold C. Simmons Arthritis Center at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and the UTSWMC CME Executive Committee. Dr. Cohen is actively involved in teaching rheumatology fellows and residents during their clinical rotations. From 2000 to 2002, he was president of the American College of Rheumatology Research and Education Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Cohen is board certified in internal medicine with sub-specialty certification in rheumatology.
D Magazine named Dr. Cohen one of the “Best Doctors in Dallas,” and Texas Monthly voted him among the “Texas Super Doctors.” In 1994, the Arthritis Foundation (AF) honored him with its coveted AF Medical Profession Award.
